Zonzymart (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy applies to www.zonzymart.com, our customer accounts, checkout process, wishlist, contact forms, newsletters and related customer support services. By using our website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy is issued to help you understand what personal data Zonzymart collects, why that data is needed, how long it is kept, who it may be shared with, and what choices you have. We collect only the information reasonably required to operate our online store, complete your orders, prevent fraud, improve our website and communicate with you.

We operate as an India-based online shopping platform offering products across categories such as home collection, smart gadgets, beauty and personal care, women care, kids products and gift cards. Because we process customer information to sell goods online, we treat data protection as a core business responsibility and not merely a legal formality.

Please read this policy together with our Terms & Conditions, Cookies Policy, Returns Policy and Shipping & Delivery Policy. If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, you should discontinue use of the website.

2. Who We Are

Zonzymart is an India-based e-commerce brand founded in 2025. Our customer-facing website is available at www.zonzymart.com. Selected Zonzymart products may also be sold through third-party marketplaces such as Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Snapdeal, Blinkit and Zepto. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, and this document applies only to information collected by Zonzymart through our own website and official support channels.

For privacy-related questions, you may write to us at zonzymart@gmail.com or call +91 8934819056. Our business correspondence address is Beniganj, Deeh, Unnao - 209801, Uttar Pradesh, India.

3.2 Order and transaction information

  • Products added to cart or wishlist, order history, order value and payment method selected.
  • Delivery instructions, order notes and communication relating to cancellations, replacements or refunds.
  • Invoice details required for GST-compliant billing, where applicable.

3.3 Technical and usage information

  • IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and referring URL.

  • Cookie identifiers and similar technologies, as explained in our Cookies Policy.

3.4 Support and correspondence

If you email, call or message us, we keep the relevant conversation so that we can resolve your request, verify your order and maintain a record of customer service. We ask that you do not send unnecessary sensitive information such as full card numbers, government identity copies or medical records unless we specifically request them for a lawful purpose.

4. How We Collect Information

We collect information in the following ways:

  • Directly from you: when you register, log in, place an order, save a wishlist item, subscribe to updates, fill the contact form or speak with support.
  • Automatically: when you browse the website, through cookies, server logs and similar technologies.
  • From service providers: such as payment gateways, courier partners, email delivery tools and analytics providers, but only to the extent needed to complete a service.
  • From publicly available or marketplace sources: only where you contact us about a Zonzymart product purchased on another platform and share order details so that we can assist.

We do not knowingly buy personal databases from third-party list brokers for unsolicited marketing.

5. Why We Use Your Information

We use personal information for the following legitimate business purposes:

  • To create and manage your customer account.
  • To process, confirm, pack, ship and deliver your orders.
  • To send order confirmations, invoices, shipping updates and delivery notifications.
  • To process payments, detect failed transactions and prevent fraudulent orders.
  • To handle returns, replacements, refunds and cancellations.
  • To respond to customer queries, complaints and after-sales requests.
  • To improve website performance, product pages, search results and user experience.
  • To display relevant offers, provided you have not opted out of such communication.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection, e-commerce and other legal obligations.
  • To protect the security of our website, staff, customers and business operations.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing.

Zonzymart processes personal information in accordance with applicable Indian laws, including the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 to the extent in force, the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Depending on the activity, we rely on one or more of the following grounds:

  • Consent: for optional communications, cookies that are not strictly necessary, and any processing that requires your permission.
  • Contract: to accept, fulfil and support the order you place with us.
  • Legal obligation: to maintain invoices, tax records, grievance records and information required by law or a competent authority.
  • Legitimate use: to keep the website secure, prevent misuse and improve our services, provided this does not override your rights.

7. Payments And Financial Data

Zonzymart may offer one or more payment options such as online payment, direct bank transfer, cash on delivery or other methods displayed at checkout. When you pay online, card, UPI or net-banking details are normally processed by the relevant payment service provider. We do not store complete debit card, credit card or UPI PIN information on our servers.

For bank transfer orders, we may ask you to share a payment reference, transaction ID or screenshot so that we can match the payment to your order. Cash on delivery orders require a valid phone number and complete delivery address so that the courier can collect payment at the door.

Zonzymart uses official business banking channels for company transactions. Payment records are retained as required for accounting, GST and audit purposes.

8. How We Share Information

We share personal information only when it is necessary for the purpose collected, or when the law requires us to do so. Typical recipients include:

  • Courier and logistics partners: name, phone number, address and order details needed to deliver the parcel.
  • Payment processors and banks: information required to complete or verify a payment.
  • IT, hosting, email and analytics providers: limited technical or customer data needed to operate the website and send transactional emails.
  • Professional advisers: accountants, auditors or legal counsel, where reasonably required.
  • Government or law-enforcement authorities: if we are legally obliged to disclose information, or if disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety or property.

Any service provider engaged by us is expected to use the information only for the service they provide to Zonzymart and to maintain appropriate confidentiality and security.

9. Marketplace And Third-Party Stores

Selected Zonzymart products are also available on Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Snapdeal, Blinkit, Zepto and similar platforms. If you buy from those platforms, your personal information is first collected and controlled by that marketplace under its own privacy policy. Zonzymart may receive only the order and shipping information needed to fulfil or support that sale.

Returns, refunds, payment disputes and data requests for marketplace orders should generally be raised on the platform where the purchase was made, unless we specifically ask you to contact us directly.

10. Cookies And Tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember cart and wishlist items, measure traffic and improve performance. Some cookies are essential for checkout and security. Others help us understand how customers use the site. You can manage cookies through your browser settings. For a full explanation, please read our Cookies Policy.

11. Data Retention

We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, or for the period required by law. In practice:

  • Order, invoice, payment and GST records are retained for the statutory accounting and tax period.
  • Customer support emails and tickets are retained for as long as needed to resolve disputes and improve service.
  • Marketing contact lists are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete the details.
  • Server logs and security records are kept for a limited period unless a longer period is needed for investigation.

When information is no longer required, we delete it, anonymise it, or securely archive it according to our internal records process.

12. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. These measures may include access controls, secure hosting, password protection, restricted staff access and careful handling of customer support records.

No website or internet transmission is completely secure. You also have a role in protecting your information. Please use a strong unique password, do not share OTPs or login details, and log out from shared devices. If you believe your account or an order has been compromised, contact us immediately.

13. Your Rights

Subject to applicable Indian law, you may request the following:

  • Access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction of incomplete or inaccurate information.
  • Deletion of information that is no longer required, where the law permits deletion.
  • Withdrawal of consent for optional marketing communication.
  • Information about the categories of data we collect and the purposes of processing.

To exercise these rights, email zonzymart@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request. We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law. Some records cannot be deleted if we must keep them for tax, legal, fraud-prevention or dispute-resolution reasons.

14. Children’s Privacy

Zonzymart sells products that may be suitable for children, including kids’ items and gifts. However, our website and customer accounts are intended for use by adults who are 18 years of age or older, or by a parent or legal guardian shopping on a child’s behalf. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

The revised policy will be published on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
